Update. Update. Read ALL about it!

Last night I went into work when I was scheduled the next day. Oh well, I'm sure my co-worker liked the chores I completed for him ..

I am reading the most heartfelt book I've found so long: Flowers for Algernon - I'm only about 50 pages in and I can't put it down.

I need to find motivation to get through this next 6 months. I have to somehow pay off 6000.00 dollars.. I know I can do it. Its just not going to be easy. Maybe a sign by the door with the word, "FREEDOM" on it?

Vlado and I are celebrating 9 months together and 5 months of co-habiting.. I know its a crazy amount of time to know each other before living together, but its perfect. Nothing about my life feels out of place. Thats a calming feeling.

Ten on ....Wednesday?

Ten on Tuesday, belated. C'mon, like I would be on time. ;)

1. Do you wear glasses, contacts, or are you one of those perfect eyed people?
I have brutal eyesight. I have my disposable contacts during the day and before bed-just waking up, I have two pairs of glasses. Miu Miu and Prada.
2. What is the next item you are going to purchase?
I'm going to get Vlado and my mom some Christmas gifts. So far, I'm hoping to get Vlado Play Cologne by Givenchy, a Mexx shirt, and two tickets to blades games.
3. Have you ever watched Judge Judy or any other real court show?
I have. I do nightshifts occasionally and watching trash T.V is one of my favorite pasttimes.
4. How do you feel about fake nails?
I love them. Before I met Vlado, I had gel nails regularly. After about 3 months, Vlado told me he hated them on women; they remind him of claws. I decided to take a break from them and I've never gone back. I need to start growing my nails out more for manicures. Usually, I have on nail polish. Its one of my favorite things to buy :)
5. What is your favorite sport to watch?
None? Probably hockey if I had to choose, but only live.
6. If you could create your own Ben & Jerry’s ice cream flavor, what would it be and what would it be named?
Coffee, Hazelnut, whipped creme topping, hot chocolate, sprinkled with chocolate chips and pudges of cookie dough. And naturally, "Audges' creme' of awesome" works just fine.
7. Do you have any scars?
I do. Countless in my head from smashing it in and getting stitches. Gouge on my palm from climbing a fence and slipping, with the spike slidding into my skin and tearing. My left knee from a hot glue gun and a jenga dollhouse...
8. Does your pet’s name fit them? Is there a more appropriate name?
I have a pet Turtle named Shannon Tweed because we bought her when she was promoting our local Saskatoon pet shelter for a wedding gift but I always call her, "Baby Dinosaur" and Vlado calls her "Tweed"...
9. What is your favorite television show theme song?
Friends. So uplifting!
10. What was your favorite activity on the playground?
Monkey bars until some boy pulled down my pants in Kindergarten. Never quite moved on from that trauma moment. :P

Plans for the Day: I'm cleaning/meandering around home. My house needs it. My last day off was 12 days ago and while this isn't a day off, I have never seen our house so messy.
Loving: My paycheck coming this Friday. Our Christmas tree is up, the lights are in every room, and we almost started a livingroom fire by accident.
Hating: We don't own a house yet.

Napoleon Perdis awareness

I saw this on Oprahs' website, a little portfolio on make up/fashion that does two jobs within one. I was instantly attached to NP It Takes two Foundation Pot (google it, so cool!!)

...WTF IS NP? HOW DO I FIND THIS?

After some quick googling, NP stands for Napoleon Perdis. Website found here ---> http://www.napoleonperdis.com/US/Home.aspx.

I'm not sure if its an Avon situation (c'mon? Avon? Should be in the dollar store) but it seems to have quite a lot of things without much knowledge about them. Maybe its an American thing but I know that I've never seen it.. or maybe I'm just innocently ignorant and airhead. Whatever the case is, I found it and I have fallen in love with the *thought* of it

The price is decent, little steeper then drugstore. They have their own primer called, "Auto Pilot" so it has skin regime. I've been looking for a good one...

Keep you updated. xo.

PS: If your looking for amazing make up, brushes, etc. HIGH END, head to your closest MAC store. The holidays ALWAYS have a Christmas set with palettes, mini-brushes, etc. Last year I bought two sets (6 brushes) of make up brushes for 120.00 and they are amazing. Heres hoping Vlado ignores the make-up palette I got from my sister last night and the splurging begins!

NaBlogPoMo catch-up :) Nov 1-Nov 4th.

What is your favorite part about writing?
I've always written. During highschool, I wanted to be an author or researcher, or reporter. Writing was something I always did - even throughout college, on my different career path, you could find me with headphones and a moleskin riding the bus, in my own little world. I think thats what I enjoy about it. I am literally just zoned out, imagining, reflecting, creating... I have stacks of old journals from when I was 12 and up. Once Vlado and I have a baby, they go to her. I think thats exciting and wish I had journals to read of my parents.

If you knew what your last meal would be, what would you choose?
I really enjoy criminology so there is a website I frequent called crimelibrary. There is a creative little tab about famous prisoners and what their last meal would be. (Check it out, very interesting)
My last meal would be baked spaghetti with wine and a side of corn and those potato sides from m&m meatshop.

Can you listen to music and write? I can. The music just fades out (or entirely stops and I don't realize) but I don't necessarily need it to get into my writing mood. If I can't write or I am disinterested, I will force myself to blog/journal for about 5 minutes and save the draft. I have about 20 drafts half-started that will eventually be completed or deleted. I actually did this today on the (boring) subject of my debt.

When writing, do you prefer to use a pen or a computer? Computer for blogging (duh?) and pen & paper for journalling. My blog is for current events, interests, photos,  -- things to share.
My journal is for my private moments. My fight with Vlado, my dads death, my evasiveness about going to yoga class and not feeling as good as everyone else, etc.
